Sour Cream Coffee Cake
Ingredients
| 1/2 cup | margarine or butter, softened |
| 1 cup | sugar |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 tsp | baking soda |
| 1 cup | sour cream |
| 1 1/2 cups | flour |
| 1 1/2 tsp | baking powder |
| 1/4 tsp | salt |
Topping
| 1/2 cup | packed brown sugar |
| 1/2 cup | chopped nuts |
| 1 tsp | cinnamon |
Directions
- Cream together, butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and beat well.
- Add baking soda and sour cream; mix well.
- Mix together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to batter and stir just until mixed.
- Pour half of the batter into a greased 8x8 pan.
- Mix together brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon. Sprinkle half over batter.
- Spoon second half of batter over top and sprinkle with remaining topping mixture.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
