Sausage
Ingredients
| 4 lbs | hamburger |
| 1/4 cup | curing salt |
| 1 Tbsp | garlic salt |
| 1 Tbsp | onion salt |
| 1 1/2 tsp | pepper |
| 1 tsp | liquid smoke |
| 1 tsp | mustard seed |
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together. Chill for 24 hours, kneading every 8 hours.
- Divide into 4 parts and shape into logs. Place on broiler pan and put in oven on bottom rack for 1 1/2 hours. Turn oven down to 150 and continue cooking for 6 1/2 hours longer.
- Cool and slice.
