Classic Waffles
Ingredients
| 2 cups | flour |
| 1 tsp | salt |
| 4 tsp | baking powder |
| 2 tbsp | white sugar |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 1/2 cups | warm milk |
| 1/3 cup | butter, melted |
| 1 tsp | vanilla extract |
Ingredients Doubled
| 4 cups | flour |
| 2 tsp | salt |
| 8 tsp | baking powder |
| 4 tbsp | white sugar |
| 4 | eggs |
| 3 cups | warm milk |
| 2/3 cup | butter, melted |
| 2 tsp | vanilla extract |
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar; set aside.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Stir in the milk, butter and vanilla. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture; beat until blended.
Notes
- Original recipe yields 10-12 waffles.
