Chinese shrimp stir-fry

This takes about 15 minutes to cook, and not very long to prep.



3green onions
3garlic cloves
2 tbspginger


2 tbspoyster sauce
2 tbspsoy sauce
2 tbspfresh cilantro


1 lbsshrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tspcorn starch


  1. Finely mince the aromatics, set aside
  2. Mix sauce ingredients, set aside
  3. Toss shrimp (pat dry) with corn starch.
  4. Heat 1 tbsp oil in wok over high heat until very hot.
  5. Sear the shrimp for about 1 minute per side. They do not have to be cooked through yet.
  6. Remove shrimp, turn heat down to medium.
  7. When wok has cooled a bit, add 1 tbsp oil, and cook the aromatics for about a minute.
  8. (Optional: Add other veggies, cook for an additional minute or so)
  9. Add sauce mixture and shrimp to the wok and stir-fry at least another minute until shrimp is cooked.
